Required competence, capability, skill and ability related to course content:
Demonstrated knowledge of digital humanities methods and theory, including, but not limited to text-analysis, data collection, data visualization (timelines, maps, networks), curation, and digital storytelling. Exploration of these methods will be informed by critical discourse on topics such as privacy, surveillance, data ethics, and design, enabling students to analyze and evaluate digital projects and to think ethically about the choices involved in creating, manipulating, analyzing, and representing using digital methods.
