The incumbent will be conducting studio instruction emphasizing integration of design theory, skills, and knowledge using site scale and urban design projects - encouraging the use of interdisciplinary approaches to complete a final capstone project. The instructor should expect to interact with individual students on problem-based design projects.

Degree: 
Masters related to field

A minimum of (1) an MLA with professional experience or (2) a BLA with a related masters degree and professional experience or (3) a BLA with significant professional experience
Prior Teaching Experience: 
Successful teaching related to field at college or university level
Required competence, capability, skill and ability related to course content: 
Candidates should have effective graphic communication skills, computer communication skills and experience in teaching design studio courses with student critiques.
Preferred Qualifications

Ontario Association of Landscape Architects member or other professional (OAA, RAI, ASLA, etc.) membership is preferred.
