Couple and family experience is expressed in different forms of relationships including traditional heterosexual marriages, same sex partnerships, cohabitation, separated, divorced, and remarried families and parenting throughout the life cycle. Candidates should provide in their application evidence of prior teaching experience and teaching success/excellence related to course content, which may include a dossier, teaching philosophy, examples of teaching innovations, course developments, evaluations of previously taught courses (e.g., peer evaluations and/or student feedback), reference letters, and any other relevant information they wish to have evaluated by the selection committee (some documents on file in the department or program, such as UofGH Student Feedback Questionnaires of courses taught on UofG contracts, may also be used). Previous teaching and experience with D2L (course website platform) with evidence of student engagement. Professional experience working with diverse family and relationship structures, with demonstrated understanding of social, cultural, and economic influences on family dynamics. Research background in family dynamics, relationship diversity, or the impact of socio-cultural factors on couple and family systems.

Section DE01 & DE02: This is a distance education course offering. As such, significant online monitoring, supervision and feedback related to student learning activities is required.
Period of the Work Agreement (Start Date and End Date):
