The course will contribute to students' achievement of selected DVM Program elements of competency in the context of the dog and cat. The primary emphasis is directed towards developing the skills, knowledge and attitudes that will permit the entry-level veterinarian to develop strategies to deal with common and uncommon diagnoses.

Degree: 
DVM
Other
Licensed or eligible for licensure with the College of Veterinarians of Ontario. Doctor of Veterinary Science Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons Educational qualification. e.g. BEd
Prior Teaching Experience: 
Successful teaching related to field at college or university level
10 years of more DVM teaching experience at an accredited veterinary college in Canada
Required competence, capability, skill and ability related to course content: 
The candidate will have a strong background in clinical practice of cat and dog surgery Experience in teaching Canadian DVM students is required.
