Candidates should provide in their application evidence of prior teaching experience and teaching success/excellence related to course content, which may include a dossier, teaching philosophy, examples of teaching innovations, course developments, evaluations of previously taught courses (e.g., peer evaluations and/or student feedback), reference letters, and any other relevant information they wish to have evaluated by the selection committee (some documents on file in the department or program, such as UofGH Student Feedback Questionnaires of courses taught on UofG contracts, may also be used).
Professional experience, project work or community-engaged experience analyzing and addressing intersectional and systemic inequalities—particularly related to race, Indigeneity, gender, dis/ability, colonialism, and Canadian justice or legal systems—and their implications for justice services, policy, or reform.
Demonstrated expertise grounded in Indigenous histories and lived experience as it relates to social justice, equity, and systemic change.
Research background in examining intersectional and systemic inequities—particularly related to Indigeneity, race, gender, dis/ability, colonialism, and the Canadian justice or legal systems—and their implications for justice policy or reform.
