The incumbent will act as co-instructor for the course. This course introduces students to physical design professions with emphasis on the role of Landscape Architects. Emphasis is on the development of design awareness, process, communication skills, and creativity.

MLA or BLA with significant demonstrated professional experience
Prior Teaching Experience:

Design teaching experience at University or College level is preferred
Required competence, capability, skill and ability related to course content: 
Candidate should have at least 3-5 years of professional experience as a designer. Design studio teaching experience is considered an asset. The candidate should have a passion for the development of foundational design skills and bring strong verbal and graphic communication skills and time management skills. An ability to support both analogue design skills such as sketching and making, along with, software training through desk crits and tutorials is an asset.

Masters related to field
Specific Preferred competence, capability, skill and ability related to course content: 
Membership with OALA or other component association of the CSLA an asset.
