Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Degree: 
Masters related to field
Prior Teaching Experience: 
Successful teaching related to field at college or university level
Required competence, capability, skill and ability related to course content: 
Master’s degree in Engineering. Successful completion of ENGG*1100 or equivalent course during an engineering undergraduate or graduate degree OR demonstrated teaching experience in an equivalent course. Strong knowledge of engineering drawing principles and hand sketching. Demonstrated competence with computer-aided drafting, including AutoCAD, and other tools used in engineering design problems. Ability to deliver engineering drawing/computer lab portion of the course.

Prior Teaching Experience: 
Successful teaching related to field at college or university level.
Minimum TA experience in similar course (or a course with similar learning outcomes)
Specific Preferred competence, capability, skill and ability related to course content: 
Familiarity with the field of Engineering Design, including topics related to the development and communication of engineering solutions using graphical, oral and written means. Familiarity with the U of G engineering computer lab systems. Familiarity with the practice of professional engineering and the role of ethics in engineering. Experience teaching in a team environment.

Most or all of the evening computer labs: M 5:00 – 6:50 PM, T 4:00 – 5:50, T 6:00 – 7:50 PM, W 7:00 – 8:50 PM, Th 4:00 – 5:50, Th 6:00 – 7:50 PM
Period of the Work Agreement (Start Date and End Date): 
September 8, 2026 to January 7, 2027
Wages (per semester, per full-load): 
minimum $8,838.51 (effective 2025/26)
