Artist diploma in Music or equivalent
Prior Teaching Experience: 
Successful teaching related to field at college or university level
Required competence, capability, skill and ability related to course content: 
Experience coaching Music Theatre scene study and ensemble work at the postsecondary level. Demonstrated knowledge of MT repertoire, and vocal techniques appropriate to various MT idioms. Professional stage experience
Preferred Qualifications
Prior Teaching Experience: 
Many years of successful teaching related to contents of the course.

Specific Preferred competence, capability, skill and ability related to course content: 
Professional training in voice techniques and vocal physiology particularly contemporary commercial vocals (i.e. belting and musical theatre). Demonstrated experience directing and producing musical theatre productions. Demonstrated experience with theatre production duties (lighting, sound, costumes, and set design).Experience with event promotion and managing rights. Ability to accompany singers on piano. Ability to accompany or familiarity with backing tracks.
