-Applicants should suggest a topic and general course outline in their application. The topic of this section is flexible and may include a clinical oriented topic, international nutrition, micro/macronutrients, food security, or lifecycle nutrition.
Composing, grading and providing feedback for all course assignments, term tests, and final exams. We strongly recommend the use of grading rubrics for student assignments. Creation and maintenance of CourseLink site, including discussion board and monitoring where appropriate. Providing the Department with an updated course outline at your earliest convenience and one week before the start of classes. Any significant changes to the course outline, including but not limited to a change in textbook or assessment strategies, must be approved by the Department Chair. Following the end of the semester, as per Article 14.10(a) in your Collective Agreement, you may also be requested to perform work as outlined therein. Reimbursement will be paid in accordance with Schedule "B" of the Collective Agreement upon submission of the extra hours and dates worked, to the Department Chair and provided the Department Chair and Sessional previously agreed to the specific work/hours/dates.- This is one of four sections of the course, all of which must be structured in a similar manner. Students are required to complete formal class reports and term papers.
