The bursary was established by Bruce Tanaka, BSc. Engineering ’83 and MSc. Engineering ’85 and Aki Tanaka, in support of the next generation of aspiring engineers. Apply by October 7th to Student Financial Services with a Financial Need Assessment Form and submit the Bruce Aki Tanaka Engineering Bursary application. Indigenous applicants are required to confirm their First Nations, Inuit or Métis identity by completing the Indigenous Identity Confirmation Process for Students. Selection will be based on financial need.

Students registered in the B.Eng. program majoring in Water Resource Engineering or Environmental Engineering who have completed a minimum of 11.0 credits and who have demonstrated financial need. Preference will be given to Indigenous (First Nations, Inuit, and Métis) students.
