General Events Overview

Here’s what’s coming up in the 2025–2026 recruitment cycle:

When: September 27–28, 2025, 9:30 am–5:00 pm

Where: Metro Toronto Convention Centre (MTCC)

OUF is one of the largest educational fairs in North America, where students and their supporters may speak with representatives from Ontario universities about programs, campus life and anything else that may help them make a decision about which Ontario university to choose. Admission is free, come visit our booth!

When: November 1 (or 8), 2025

Where: Online

This event is designed for prospective international students and their families. The International Virtual Open House is designed to learn more about our programs, U of G's campus, the application process, and what it means to be a Gryphon.

When: November 9, 2025, 10:00 am–3:30 pm

Where: U of G campus

FOH is your chance to experience the University of Guelph in-person. Tour our beautiful campus, meet professors and current students, and learn more about your program of interest. It’s the best way to see what life at U of G is really like.

When: January 17 (or 24), 2026

Where: Online

Attend the IVOH to learn more about our programs, U of G's campus, the application process, and what it means to be a Gryphon. Speak to current international students about their experiences.

When: February 28, 2026, 9:30 am–3:00 pm

Where: The Arts Research Centre (ARC), Mackinnon Building, University of Guelph

Take part in workshops, one-on-one sessions with music instructors, and mock lectures to get a sneak peek of what it's like to be a Music student at U of G.

When: March 16-20, 2026

Where: Mackinnon Building, University of Guelph

Participate in events specific to your program of interest. Meet current students and talk to them about their experiences at U of G, but also other prospective students. Get a taste of what it's like to be a Gryphon!
