Picture of Bawneet Singh
Hello, I’m Bawneet and I am originally from India. What drew me to Guelph was the entrance scholarship I received as well as the extracurricular opportunities available here which I am now very involved in. I'm a social media ambassador, residence assistant, and the Vice President of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Guelph branch. I have an upcoming co-op placement as an IT technician which will allow me to apply my skills in Computer Engineering. My experience at the U of G has been extremely positive, and I would highly recommend it to anyone considering studying abroad. My favourite thing about my program is the hands-on experience I get. We've made robots and learned how to navigate satellites in our 1st year!

My name is Rashi, and I’m from Indore, India. I came to Guelph to pursue a degree in Software Engineering and later added Statistics as a minor after thoroughly enjoying the introductory statistics class. I am in my third year of studies and have been fortunate to gain employment at companies such as Amazon and Nokia through my co-op program. I’ve also had the chance to conduct research at the University of Guelph and teach part time as a Teaching Assistant. As the Co-president of the Guelph Women in Computer Science, I’m passionate about giving back to this amazing community that has supported me. Guelph has been the perfect choice for me as an international student and I’m confident you will have a similarly enriching experience!
