Celebrating 100 Hub Companies

Since 2014 we have seen over 100 businesses graduate from our Hub Incubator program – one hundred! What started out as idea to expand into the new venture creation space and encourage more University of Guelph startups has evolved into one of our signature programs where we help foster innovation and entrepreneurship. While we are incredibly proud of this milestone, we’re even more proud of the more than 100 businesses and entrepreneurs we’ve worked with. The successes we celebrate are the result of their resiliency, perseverance, and entrepreneurial spirit.

The following ten businesses provide a glimpse into the entrepreneurial community created at the Wood Centre and fostered across campus. While we remain deliberately inclusive and non-sector specific about the types of businesses we accept into the Hub, threaded throughout all these startups is our focus and commitment to sustainability and impact. We are developing a values-based entrepreneurial leadership and sustainability impact-metric to ensure all are trained on this important matter.

We remain committed to our startups, their dreams, and their passions. Together, we are bringing ideas to life.
