Meet your new classmates

I decided to study at U of G because of the amazing landscape architecture program! I loved that it combines science and design, as well as being the only accredited undergraduate landscape architecture program in Canada. I had only heard good things about the community and culture here at Guelph.

Food science is a very important field within our industry and in our everyday lives. There was definitely no shortage of finding jobs within the field. There are lots of opportunities for students to get involved and jumpstart their career.

When I was in high school, I knew that I was passionate about the environment and sustainability, but I didn’t know what the best way was to get involved. U of G provided me with the flexibility to choose among four majors in the environmental sciences degree.

When I visited Guelph, I just felt like it was the right place to be. I enjoyed all the schools that I visited but Guelph really stuck out to me. The Bachelor of Bio Resource Management program was unique in the sense that it's sort of a hybrid program between environmental sciences and business management.

"When I talk to friends from other universities it always makes me realize how much U of G has to offer – personable and engaging professors, opportunities for involvement, and both a school and city with a real community focus. Pursuing graduate studies at U of G was an easy decision for me."
