Research
I am particularly interested in the regulation of human metabolism and the metabolic changes caused by disease states, diet, nutritional supplements, and physical activity. Most of my research investigates physiological mechanisms involved in applying dietary and physical activity interventions to prevent and treat chronic diseases (e.g. Cancer, Obesity, Sarcopenia, and Type 2 Diabetes).
I am passionate about understanding and researching human metabolism, with a particular focus on how diet and physical activity influence metabolic changes. My research portfolio includes the prevention and treatment of chronic diseases such as cancer, Type 2 diabetes, and obesity. I specialize in human physiology and nutrition, exploring endocrine physiology, metabolic regulation, and the efficacy of nutritional and exercise-based interventions in treating and preventing chronic diseases. Through my research projects and courses, I aim to advance scientific knowledge and contribute to improved health outcomes.
