Young alumna tackles family business succession

At the International Plowing Match in Harrison, Ontario, FARE undergraduate student Antia Rastapkevicius (OAC '17) was crowned the 2016-2017 Ontario Queen of the Furrow. In her role as Ontario Queen of the Furrow, Anita will be responsible for promoting the 2017 International Plowing Match and Rural Expo, which is being held in Walton. Throughout the year, she will be visiting local plowing matches across the province to meet with the upcoming local Queens of the Furrow and their respective Plowmens Association.

Two students from the FARE department, Syer Tazim Haque and Qin Xu were both featured in a project detailing what a day in the life of an OAC grad student is like.
