Any electrical Resources supplied will be authorized or approved in accordance with the Electrical Safety Code or by a certification organization accredited with the Standards Council of Canada Act (Canada), and will bear the certification organization’s mark identifying the goods certified for use in Canada.

The Supplier will ensure Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (“WHMIS”) Safety Data Sheets (“SDS”) are onsite as required. Additionally, the Supplier should provide the Client’s personnel WHMIS training, as it relates to the Resources, in accordance with the Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act.

Delivery

Fastenal:

The Supplier will notify the Client immediately or within one (1) Business Day of receiving a Client’s order request detailing when the order will be delivered.

All Resources will be Delivered Duty Paid (“DDP”) to inside the door or the dock of the requested location.

Delivery charges of any kind (e.g. for orders, replacements, recalls, returns, warranty) will not be accepted or paid.

The Supplier will deliver Resources ordered by next Business Day or within forty-eight (48) hours for core Resources, understanding that there may be extenuating circumstances (e.g. a longer delivery lead-time when purchasing special Resources). Non-core Resource lead-times will be confirmed by the Supplier at the time or ordering.

Acklands-Grainger

Standard In-stock items: 1-2 business days on core products, Mond -5pm local time
Emergency/urgent orders: Same-day or next-day, depending on the placed, the delivery location and courier used
Non-stocked items: 2-4 weeks

Lawson Products

Standard In-stock items: 1-2 business days on core products, Mond -5pm local time
Emergency/urgent orders: Same-day or next-day, depending on the placed, the delivery location and courier used
Non-stocked items: 2-4 weeks

Limitation

• No minimum order value or quantity requirement.
• Maximum Value per a single order is $25,000.  HVPO is required for over $25,000

Governing Documentation

• Acklands-Grainger SMC# individual order/release is kept in user’s department.
• Fastenal SMC# individual order/release is kept in user’s department.
• Lawson SMC# individual order/release is kept in user’s department.

How to Order

The Customer's ordering department must provide all the following information at the time of placing orders:
• Product code, quantity and detailed description
• Name of requisitioner, contact number and extension
• Name of the person to receive the order, the department, phone number and extension, building name and room number
• 26 digits GL Code
