Operation Separation was a total success! This pilot project aimed to divert and redistribute waste from the Chancellor's Way student move outs to give students the opportunity to properly dispose or rehome their items being left behind. This project ran everyday from April 20th until May 1st and collected a large number of donations. We saw a ton of donations go to various community organizations throughout Guelph. Many of the furniture and household items will be stored away and rehomed in September during "Move In" madness to help future Guelph students! Student move outs can certainly be hectic, but this project shows that they do not need to be wasteful!
