Volunteers

The GCUOF welcomes volunteers to get their hands dirty to help up grow certified organic produce. This is the perfect opportunity for the “agri-curious” students and community members who are looking to get connected with their food through hands on experiential education.

You will be trained the day of your volunteering with the skills you will need that to be successful at the various tasks we will be taking on. Depending on the time of year, we need help with seeding, transplanting, weeding, caring for our plants, and harvesting. Usually, more seeding in the spring and harvesting in the fall. All volunteers are required to complete the RELEASE and INDEMNIFICATION FORM prior to volunteering each season. We provide paper copies on site on your first day.
