Virtual Offerings

The 2020/2021 school year is very different and continues to be filled with uncertainty. The OAC Liaison Program understands the unique challenges of returning the classroom, online, and in-person hybrid teaching and remote learning options. We have taken special care in developing a variety of events, offerings, and resources to support you and your students synchronously and asynchronously.

Virtual Facility Tours

Starting in October you're invited to register for a unique opportunity to attend a behind the scenes look at some of our research facilities. Each individual event will include an associated in-class or at-home activity, discussion questions and live event portion. You can learn more about each Virtual Facility Tour by visiting our upcoming events page here.

Resource Webinars

To get a closer look at all of the no-cost opportunities available to you, join us for our resource webinars. The first segment of this three-part series will provide an overview of all of our 2020/2021 offerings. The following two segments will take a closer look at upcoming events and topics available for guest speakers and lesson plans.

Request a Speaker

Whether you and your students are in the classroom or at home, you can request a guest speaker to visit your virtual classroom at a date and time that works for you. Speakers will attend using your preferred platform and will answer live questions from your students. See our full list of topics and request a speaker here.

Program Information Nights

Specially designed for grade 11 and 12 students, program information nights are a chance to learn about and compare academic programs in a specific interest area. Each event will include a program presentation and an opportunity to ask questions to current students, recent alumni, and faculty. Parents/guardians, teachers, and guidance counselors are welcomed and encouraged to attend. You can learn more about each Program Information Night by visiting our upcoming events page.
