Student ExperienceOVC Convocation Series – Tides of Change: Daniel Lindo on Transforming his Lifelong Passion for Marine Biology into a Career in Parasitology
After completing both a Bachelor of Science in Zoology and Master of Science in Pathobiology at the University of Guelph, Daniel Lindo leaves a legacy of joyous energy and dedication to our campus community. His MSc research focused on developing a diagnostic assay to surveil a group of parasites that cause disease of economic importance in chickens. Outside of his MSc studies, Lindo plays principal cello for the Guelph Symphony Youth Orchestra and is an involved member of the OVC community as a department representative and teaching assistant.
