Searching and Adding Courses

A student can add a course (class) to their schedule during the designated registration or add/drop periods online using WebAdvisor. Take a look at the Course Selection Window to find out when you can add courses.

Course Descriptions and Offerings

Official course descriptions, and which semesters they are scheduled to be offered in, are available in the Academic Calendar. Also, many individual department and instructor websites offer course outlines for the offered courses.

For a small fee, course descriptions that cannot be found can be delivered to you. Please download and complete the Course Description Request form.

Online Courses

Some courses are delivered or supplemented online using CourseLink, or through Open Learning and Educational Support. For inquiries related to those courses, please take a look at their websites:

Dropping a Course

A student can drop a course (class) from their schedule using WebAdvisor. Beginning in Fall 2019, students will have until the last day of classes to drop courses without academic penalty.

If you want to drop all of your courses (withdraw from the semester), please read this important information about voluntary withdrawal.

Making Changes in Person

Courses can be added and dropped in person at the Office of Registrarial Services. You can download and complete a Course Request form.
