Leica Stellaris 5

The upright Leica Stellaris confocal laser scanning system is is equipped with 4 laser lines, 4 HyD S detectors, a tandem scanner, and full set of objectives. The LAS X software includes Lightning and Navigator.

  • Microscope: upright Leica DM6
  • Objectives: 5x (air), 10x (air), 20x (air), 25x (water) 40x (glycerol), 63x (oil)
  • Laser lines: 405 nm, 488 nm, 561 nm, 638 nm
  • 4 HyD S detectors, fully tunable
  • FOV scanner and resonant scanner (8000 Hz)

What is the Advanced Analysis Centre?

The Advanced Analysis Centre (AAC) at the University of Guelph is a group of research laboratories housed in the University’s Summerlee Science Complex. The AAC spans an area of over 1000m2 and contains approximately $40 M of research equipment purchased with funds from the Canada Foundation for Innovation, Ontario Research Fund and Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada.
