The OAC Dean's Office is pleased to announce Rhonda Alger as the new Manager, Research Programs for the College. Her secondment will begin in a part-time capacity on July 24, 2017 and in a full-time capacity on August 14, 2017.
Rhonda transitions to this position from her current role of Administrative Officer with the Department of Animal Biosciences, a position she has held since 2004.
In this role, Rhonda will promote research opportunities to faculty and manage various research competitions on behalf of the College. She will be the first point of contact with researchers for guidance on the development of research contracts and grants, and will support and sustain the vibrant research culture in OAC.
Rhonda has significant experience in the management of research awards and strong knowledge of OAC gathered during her time in the Department of Animal Biosciences and, prior to that, as the OMAFRA Research Programs Administrator in the Office of Research.
