Welcome to the Program Management Office Website

The IT Program Management Office (PMO) supports the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and U of G IT governance council (ITGC) by providing greater oversight across all IT projects in progress at the University. This will allow for greater visibility, more strategic decision making, and reduced duplication of effort. The PMO will help to set and maintain standards and guidelines for project management on campus.

This support includes:

  • program and project selection
  • assisting with resource management
  • providing guidance for delivering sound IT programs
  • University-wide project management
  • supporting project risk identification and management
  • project change management through reporting and assessment
