Researchers across #UofG’s campus will receive more than $7.86 million in federal funding to support studies on a diverse range of topics, ranging from antimicrobial resistance and visual distraction to feather pecking and the behaviour of atomic nuclei.
In total, #UofGuelph researchers will receive funding as follows:
- $4.8 million from the Canada Research Chairs (CRC) program
- More than $2.9 million in new Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC) funding Discovery grants, Subatomic Physics Discovery grants and Research Tools and Instruments grants
- $150,000 from the Canada Innovation Centre’s John R. Evans Leaders Fund (JELF)
