Build your capacity to integrate Indigenization, equity, diversity, and inclusion into your research with this self-paced online course from the Research Services Office. Open to all U of G students, staff, and faculty, the course includes practical tools, action planning resources, and a certificate of completion.

Animal User Training Program

The Animal User Training Program coordinated by Animal Care Services (ACS) ensures that individuals involved in the care and use of animals for research or teaching at U of G are well trained in ethical practices, regulatory requirements, proper handling and practical skills necessary to competently perform animal-based tasks. The program includes: 

Training is delivered by animal facility staff, qualified instructors and veterinarians accompanied by resources on CourseLink. Training requirements are assigned based on an approved Animal Utilization Protocol (AUP) procedures. Completion of the compulsory online Core Modules is required before beginning any animal work.
