The CIHR Institute of Nutrition, Metabolism and Diabetes, Institute of Aging, Institute of Human Development, Child Youth and Health, and the Institute of Infection and Immunity in partnership with the Canadian Association of Gastroenterology, Crohn’s and Colitis Canada, Cystic Fibrosis Canada, the Heart and Stroke Foundation, and the Kidney Foundation of Canada.


A nominated Principle Applicant (PI), one other PI with expertise in a different discipline, a New Investigator as a co-applicant or co-PI, application must include researchers from 2 different institutions and must align with one of the 4 funding pools

$400,000 per year – fund approx. 7 grants
