During my research leave, I had the good fortune to be able to work in the recently restored salle Labrouste, a department in the Bibliothèque nationale de France's central "Richelieu" site. This photo was taken as I was leaving the reading room on June 28, 2023. I had been reading a 1908 book by Judith Cladel (1873-1958), a rare copy of a richly illustrated book she wrote about the sculptor, Auguste Rodin.
