Our research explores how the social media campaign "No Mow May," which encourages delayed spring mowing to provide flowering plants for pollinators, affects the functionality of green spaces and whether this practice actually results in more flowers. This work helps inform science-based discussions about balancing biodiversity goals with the practical use of turfgrass landscapes by homeowners, municipalities, and professional turf managers.
