This photo was taken during my graduate field work in Madagascar in the summer of 2025. I'm standing on one of our transects (hiking trails) used to search for lemurs. My research examined how two lemur species with different ecological strategies can occupy areas with varying levels of human activities. This work helps determine which species is more ecologically adaptable and supports the development of species-specific conservation efforts.
