This photo was taken outside of Le Palais des Congrès in Montréal, which hosted the 15th Conference of the Parties to the UN Convention on Biological Diversity (COP15) in December 2022. During the meetings, I observed the negotiation and final adoption of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework, a historic agreement that seeks to safeguard biodiversity around the world.
