Absolutely! Members of the Research Ethics Office are regularly invited to speak with undergraduate and graduate classes, research groups and scholarly communities such as the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL). These sessions provide an excellent opportunity for students, faculty and staff to gain a deeper understanding of research ethics and the role of the REB in supporting responsible research.

Presentations are tailored to the audience and typically cover a range of topics, including the purpose and importance of REB review, informed consent principles and best practices, participant privacy, data management and common ethical considerations that arise during the research process. We also provide practical guidance on navigating EthOS, including a brief demonstration of key features and application processes. Reach out to reb@uoguelph.ca to arrange.
