EthOS does not autosave the way many other cloud-based applications do. You must get in the habit of manually saving your work using the Save button, especially if you are writing a long-text question response and/or plan to be away from the screen for more than 30 minutes.

Here are the guidelines for when EthOS automatically saves, and when it does not.

Automatic saves happen when:

  • You navigate from one page to the next using EthOS Previous and Next actions (not browser buttons)
  • You use the Navigate button to select specific sections of the form
  • You run a completeness check or upload a document
  • You access the Help icon in the top-right corner

EthOS will not automatically save when:

  • You use any of the left-hand sidebar menu navigation options (e.g. Work Area, Projects, Contacts, Signatures, Transfers)
  • You click on the Bell icon in the top right corner to find a previously sent notification
  • You use your browser’s back arrow
