Curriculum Management and Calendaring
After a successful RFP process, the University is partnering with Leepfrog Technologies to deliver a Curriculum Management and Calendaring solution. This solution will contribute to the wider modernization of our institutional systems by:
- streamlining academic calendaring, curriculum and academic quality assurance management processes
- supporting strategic enrolment management
- improving the student experience
Academic Calendars:
The implementation of the new platform for academic calendars is underway, with the team currently working on three key fronts:
- The migration of data from the existing calendars, Colleague, and other sources.
- The design of the web and PDF versions of the calendars. The modern design will allow for simpler navigation and continued AODA compliance on all devices.
- Ensuring the final product supports ease of use for internal and external audiences.
The team looks forward to the launch of the 2021-22 calendars on this new platform, as it will allow for easier updates and a more user-friendly experience for the entire community.
Curriculum Management:
The Curriculum Management project will benefit all staff, students, and faculty involved in curriculum development. The new platform will improve the workflows associated with updating course descriptions, creating courses, and developing new programs. It will streamline the approval process and allow for quicker publication through its integration with Colleague.
The project will begin in the spring with engagement from all campuses; additional updates are forthcoming.
