This award was established by Larry and Joy Pearson to support the She’s Got Game Movement at the University of Guelph with the goal of developing strong female student-athlete leaders in our community. Selection is based on demonstrated athletic excellence and strong leadership skills. Coaches will nominate students to the Athletic Awards Committee.
Entering student-athletes who are members of the Gryphon Women's Basketball team or current members of the Gryphon Women's Basketball team who have achieved a minimum 70% average or equivalent in the previous academic year as a student-athlete.
