This award was established through the La Fondation Emmanuelle Gattuso in memory of a special cat, Lucy. She was the cherished companion of Roly Watt for more than 21 years. Submit resume detailing volunteer experience in an animal shelter or with pet owners from underserved communities in the fall during the call for applications from the OVC Dean's office. Include one supporting reference letter from a direct supervisor. Selection will be based on the student who demonstrates the most volunteer experience in an animal shelter or with pet owners from underserved communities. In the case of equally qualified candidates, selection will be based on highest admissions average.
Students entering Phase 1 of the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Program with volunteer experience in an animal shelter or with pet owners from vulnerable communities.
