Apply by May 15 to the Department of Management Awards Committee at dmawards@uoguelph.ca with: 1) A 300 - 500 word personal statement describing the impact of the leadership community service in a non-profit setting including the benefits both to the student and to others. 2) A list of leadership activities and involvement including dates and hours spent. Selection will be based on the positive leadership impact from the volunteer community service in a non-profit setting, including the benefits both to the student and to others. In the event of a tie, the award will go to the student with the highest cumulative average.
Students registered in the B.Comm. program majoring in Management who have completed HROB*2010 Foundations of Leadership (first course in the Certificate of Leadership) in the previous academic year and completed 40 hours of leadership community service in a non-profit setting such as volunteering in student associations, coaching, mentoring, event planning etc.
