The Department of Economics & Finance offers this scholarship in honour of Professor William Furlong, a long-term member of the Department of Economics & Finance and a leader in the scholarship of teaching principles of microeconomics, to the student with the highest final grade in Introductory Microeconomics (ECON*1050) in the fall semester.
