This award was established to assist chemistry students in traveling to pursue valuable experiential learning opportunities and to enhance their education through co-op placements. Selection will be based on the best performance in the candidate’s most recent work term as evaluated by the employer and the quality of the work term report as evaluated by the program academic advisor. In the event of a tie, the student with the highest cumulative average will be selected. Students can only hold this award once.
Students registered in the Biological and Pharmaceutical Chemistry Co-op Program who have completed at least one co-op work term. This award can not be held with the George A. Farley Scholarship [I0099]. Preference will be given to the student who has travelled the furthest from the University of Guelph to their co-op workplace.
