Created by the Worrall Family, this award seeks to give back to students in the same industry that provided them with the opportunity to thrive. Apply by May 15th using the OAC Undergraduate Fall Award Application Form. Selection will be based on breadth of involvement in Food Science student activities. The scholarship will be renewed for up to 2 years provided recipients remain registered in full-time studies in the Bachelor of Science program with a major in Food Science, have achieved a minimum 80.0% cumulative average in the previous academic year, and continue to demonstrate involvement in Food Science student activities. Students will be contacted by OAC Awards to complete an annual renewal application to demonstrate continued involvement in Food Science student activities. Students who fail to qualify for a renewal payment may re-qualify by subsequently obtaining an 80.0% or better average in the previous academic year of full-time study and by demonstrating continued involvement in Food Science student activities. Annual payments lost cannot be added to the end of the award period.

Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or protected persons of Canada registered in the Bachelor of Science program majoring in Food Science who have completed a maximum of 6.0 credits, who have achieved a minimum 80.0% cumulative average and who have demonstrated involvement in Food Science student activities.
