Linamar has established these awards to support the She’s Got Game initiative and to reward excellent female student-athletes in the fields of business, agriculture, and engineering. Award recipients are eligible to apply for a summer internship with Linamar in the summer following their receiving the scholarship. Apply by May 15th to varsity@uoguelph.ca and include a letter outlining leadership experience, career goals in business, agriculture and/or engineering, and how obtaining this scholarship will support achieving those goals. Selection will be based on cumulative average (50%), breadth of leadership experience (25%), and alignment of scholarship with career goals in business, agriculture and/or engineering (25%). In the event of a tie, the student with the highest cumulative average will be selected.
Student-athletes registered full-time in the B.Comm, B.Eng, or B.Sc.(Agr) programs who have completed a maximum of 15.0 credits, are current members of a Gryphon Women’s team, and have achieved a minimum 70% average or equivalent during the previous academic year as a student-athlete.
