This Scholarship was established by Judy Lawrie in honour of her daughter Trina Maus who has a great passion for horses. Trina Maus is a University of Guelph graduate that has competed as a hunter/jumper. The scholarship is intended to recognize an outstanding student in Phase 4 of the DVM program who is interested in Equine medicine. Selection will be based on the highest combined grade from VETM*4450 Equine Medicine & Surgery and the Equine Module (taken for credit) grade of VETM*4530 Health Management III. In the event of a tie, selection will be based on the highest DVM program average.
Students registered in Phase 4 of the DVM program in the Equine stream who completed VETM*4450 Equine Medicine and Surgery and VETM*4530 Health Management III in the previous academic year.
