Irene and John Thompson have established the Wrenleigh Wand Memorial Bursary in memory of their infant granddaughter. We were never able to see Wrenleigh grow into her potential as a student leader, but this award is meant to help others grow into theirs. The award is intended to support Black, Indigenous (First Nations, Inuit and Métis), and racialized students working as residence life staff in Student Housing Services. Apply by October 7 with a completed Financial Need Assessment Form (NAF) to Student Financial Services and include a statement to awards@uoguelph.ca self-identifying as a Black, Indigenous (First Nations, Inuit or Métis) or racialized student and a letter from Residence Life confirming the Residence Life Staff position. Selection will be based on financial need.

Black, Indigenous (First Nations, Inuit and Métis), or racialized students registered in any degree program who have demonstrated financial need and who hold a Residence Life Staff position.
