Apply by March 15 by completing the online Inclusive Summer Field Schools Travel Grant application form including a travel budget (as outlined in the application) and the Undergraduate Need-Based Travel Grant application form if applicable. Applicants will be ranked by financial need though financial need will not necessarily be required to receive the award. Awards will be distributed across the three eligible underrepresented groups (Indigenous (First Nation, Inuit, Métis) students, students registered with Student Accessibility Services and students with financial need) where possible, and consideration will also be given to the impact of travel on the personal, professional, and academic development of the applicant as outlined in the application. Eligible expenses include tuition, living expenses, dependent care, health insurance, immunizations, transportation, and accommodation during their outbound mobility experience. Recipients of the Inclusive Summer Field School Travel Grants must agree to complete a pre-departure form as well as a post-experience report and to participate in program evaluations which may include surveys, interviews, case studies, among other activities as required by the funder.

Canadian citizens or permanent residents registered in any degree program who have been accepted to participate in an International Summer Field School approved by the Centre for International Programs and who are Indigenous (First Nations, Inuit or Métis), or are registered with Student Accessibility Services and/or have demonstrated financial need. Students may be in one or more of the identified groups.
