Established by the former George Morris Centre to acknowledge George Morris's leadership, dedication and impact with respect to agri-food policy research and training. The Department will nominate either one PhD student or 2 MSc students entering a graduate program offered by the Department of Food, Agriculture and Resource Economics. OAC Awards will request nominations from units in the Fall. Selection will be based on the quality of the student’s statement of research interest/academic intent in their application to the program and their admission average. No application is required.

Students entering a full-time PhD program or a MSc Program offered by the Department of Food, Agriculture and Resource Economics who are interested in research relating to policy.
