This scholarship was established to encourage research pertaining to the history, contributions, and issues by or about 2SLGBTQIA+ peoples. Apply by January 15 to the College of Arts awards committee at coaawards@uoguelph.ca including the research proposal or completed project, 1-page application letter (maximum of 450 words), curriculum vitae, and any supporting letters (maximum of 3) referencing involvement in the 2SLGBTQIA+ community and/ or faculty support. Projects must have been completed or research proposals accepted within the past calendar year. Selection will be based on the application that demonstrates the most significant contribution to research in 2SLGBTQIA+ studies. Students can only hold this scholarship once.

Full-time students registered in any program with a thesis, research essay, independent research project or course work pertaining to Two Spirit, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, and additional people who identify as part of sexual and gender diverse communities (2SLGBTQIA+). Students can only hold this scholarship once.
