The College of Social and Applied Human Sciences (CSAHS) has revised the previous University Graduate Scholarship (CSAHS) [I5768] to establish a ‘new’ graduate entrance scholarship that not only focuses on academic merit, but students’ contribution to leadership within their academic program and/or wider community. Recognizing the benefits of a diverse graduate student population, and solidifying the College’s commitment to diversity and inclusion, preference will be given to Black, Indigenous, and/or racialized students. Submit an application form and letter of support by September 1 to the department for which an admission application has been submitted. If applicable, include a statement of declaration identifying as a Black, Indigenous (First Nations, Inuit and/or Métis), and/or racialized student. Selection will be based on the student’s academic performance and/or potential and demonstrated leadership potential, either through their past achievements, or through their proposed research program and career aspirations.

Canadian citizens or permanent residents entering a full-time graduate program in the College of Social and Applied Human Science who demonstrate outstanding academic performance and/or potential, and leadership potential, either through past achievements or through their proposed research program and career aspirations. Preference will be given to Black, Indigenous (First Nations, Inuit and Métis) or a racialized person.
