Established by Brian Wilks in honour of his beloved Persian cat Emma, this scholarship will support graduate students in Clinical Studies with research interests in small animal emergency medicine and critical care. Apply as part of the Winter call for OVC Graduate Award applications. Selection will be based on the research that is most relevant to small animal emergency medicine and critical care. In the case of equally qualified candidates, the candidate with the highest academic and research performance to date will be selected.

Students registered full time in the department of Clinical Studies who are conducting research focusing on small animal emergency medicine and critical care. Preference will be given to students with a demonstrated interest in feline medicine.
