Established in recognition of 40 years of dedicated service to the Ontario and Canadian turkey industries. Selection will be based on financial need and academic performance. Apply to Student Financial Services (awards@uoguelph.ca) by January 10 with a completed Financial Need Assessment Form and a research proposal/summary. ACCESS AWARD.
Full-time students registered in the Department of Animal Biosciences who are conducting research related to poultry production, or registered in the Department of Food, Agricultural and Resource Economics who are conducting research related to poultry markets and marketing, or registered with the Ontario Veterinary College studying or conducting research in poultry health with demonstrated financial need. Preference is given to students conducting research related to turkey. Additionally, students must meet the government-mandated terms for receipt of an OSOTF award (see General Statements on Awards).
